I’m in my forties. I live in Barnes — a small, quiet village on the Thames —
always thirsty for beauty, and with an unshakable passion for abstract impressionism, cinema, and jazz.
I’m very good at research — and even better at observing.
I’ve travelled far. I’ve loved deeply.
I spent many years working in fashion between Milan, Melbourne, and London —
and later in interior design, in Switzerland.
I’ve never been able to stop myself from witnessing the great beauty that surrounds everything —
wild, ruleless, always present.
In recent years, I’ve become a mother.
And I’ve studied deeply — to give people the tools to find and honour their own beauty.
I don’t teach. I don’t impose.
I offer tools.
Oh — and Gianna?
Gianna is my grandmother.
I am who I am
thanks to her.
I studied at some of Italy’s most respected image academies,
where I learned to listen — not just to clothes, but to people.
After nearly 20 years in the fashion industry, image consulting felt like coming full circle:
a way to turn style into something deeper — clarity, confidence, and personal direction.
My life and work have taken me around the world —
from South Africa to Switzerland to Australia —
but it is my beloved Italy that shaped my instinct for quality and a sense of timeless elegance.
I don’t follow trends. I follow people.
My approach is always personal: rooted in technique, guided by intuition,
and designed to help you become the most grounded, authentic version of yourself.
I specialise in Color Analysis and Iconesthesia —
two disciplines that, together, help reveal how you want to be seen, and why.
In my work, I often step into my clients’ homes —
and I began to notice a deep connection between how we dress and how we live.
During my time in Switzerland, I worked in an interior design studio
and saw that a well-curated space — just like a well-chosen outfit can transform your energy, your focus, and the way you show up in the world.
When I moved to the UK, I trained with APDO,
the UK’s leading body for professional organisers —
and brought those skills into the work I do today.
As Hegel said:
“There is nothing deeper than what appears on the surface.”
Gianna’s Image and Gianna’s Wardrobe were created to bring that surface to life —
with grace, beauty, and intention.
I volunteer for Smart Works, a UK charity that supports unemployed women by providing them with the coaching, clothing, and confidence they need to secure employment and transform their lives.
The women who come to Smart Works often face significant barriers to work — including financial hardship and low self-esteem, made worse by repeated rejection.
Through Smart Works’ empowering employment programme, each woman receives a professional, boutique-style fitting experience, where she can choose an outfit that helps her feel confident, dignified, and ready to succeed in her interview.
Witnessing how self-belief can grow through something as simple — and as powerful — as the right outfit is incredibly moving.
I feel truly honoured to give my time to such an inspiring and important organisation.
